I have a perverse addiction to this television show. Teams of two from the U.S.A. travel around the world in a series of two or three days heats, performing a combination of wacky challenges (eating a giant bowl of paprika-laced Hungarian goulash, having their heads shaved, etc.) and physical feats (rappelling down the side of a mountain, kayaking down a river, etc.).
I like the program most for its coverage of the minutae of travel; I'm a "the journey is the destination" kind of traveller, so there's nothing more interesting to me than dramatic shots of people buying airlines tickets from Rome to Delhi.
