The original Town & Country Restaurant was operated for more than 40 years by Louis and Faida Rashed. It was a Lebanese restaurant on Queen Street in downtown Charlottetown.

In December of 2006, the Rasheds retired and the restaurant was purchased by new owners who reopened it on February 15, 2007 with a new menu incorporating parts of the old with new "asian fusion" dishes (read an early review).
