I met Johnnie at reboot where he and James Cherkoff presented a scaled-down version of their Open Sauce Live workshop. I really enjoyed the workshop, which tries to communicate something about what "open source is like" to people who don't know. And I marveled at the open, interactive, theatrical style of Johnnie and James.

Later in the conference, with help from Olle who broke the ice, I got a chance to talk to Johnnie about his work and his style, and learned more about his work with Open Spaces and theatrical improvisation. I also learned that he's friends with Rob -- through their blogs. Turns out Johnnie knows my old friend Chris Corrigan too, thus proving the world is, indeed, very small.
