Bobby, Charlottetown born and raised, was a New York Rangers draft pick in the 1972 amateur draft. He played for various NHL teams from 1974 to 1985. He later returned to Prince Edward Island where he opened the Sport Page Club, a sports bar in downtown Charlottetown, and served one term as Member of the Legislative Assembly for District #12 (my district) beginning in 2000.

Bobby was a very attentive MLA, coming by our door several times during his term to seek our input on the issue of the day.

After the crackdown on illegal bootleggers in Charlottetown over the summer of 2005, Bobby's Sport Page Club became a popular new destination for former bootlegger patrons.

The Sport Page Club holds a yearly New Years Day levee.
