I got swept up by Buzz in his drive to spread ActiveWords, the Windows software application that he constantly evangelizes. Once you're in Buzz' loop, things start to happen; in my case, I ended up at Pop!Tech in Camden, Maine in the fall of 2001 where I got to meet Buzz in person for the first time.
We invited Buzz to come and speak at Zap Your PRAM in 2003, and he was the closest thing to an exotic keynote that we had.
